Reading Bee

Good morning class!

We are getting ready for our annual "Ms. Shepherd's Reading Bee!'  This is a way to help us stay motivated and ready, and to also improve our reading skills.  I have created a flyer of when our Reading Bee will be held.  If you will be absent one of the days, you are able to make up the reading at home, but make sure you have a parent's note that you completed the amount of pages you did.  Let me know if you have any questions!

Chapter 2 Math Test on Google Forms

Hello class!

You will be able to take your math tests online now!  They will be through a program called Google Forms.  Please take the Chapter 2 Math Test by Friday.

For our new weekly get to know you assignment, I have created an ALL ABOUT ME example poster.  In the newsletter, I explained that each student would be chosen to do one of these to get to know each other in the class.  I have created an outline that you are welcome to follow.

     I have created a Newsletter that our class will get every month throughout the year.  It has birthdays, upcoming events, what's new to the class and what we are learning that month.  Parents, if you have any other information that you would like me to add to the newsletter, please feel free to give me your opinion.

Elementary Math on Pinterest

     The Pinterest board I have created will show you some of the things we will be learning in math this year.  On this board, it gives examples on how to learn a math subject better, math games and even assignments.  I think Pinterest is an an awesome way to organize a classroom.
